Please join us in recognizing staff from across our Department, led by Capt. MaryAnn Reding, who came together in November to put on the first ever Kids Day at the Timpanogos Women’s Correctional Facility!
On Thursday, the group received the coveted Eagle Award from Executive Director Rollin Cook, which is given quarterly to an employee or group of employees for outstanding performance. Thanks goes also to the volunteers who joined with us that day: United Way of Utah County; our Transition Mentor volunteers; the Falconz Football team; Draper Police Department’s DARE unit; and the Miracle Mascots Foundation.
In all, more than 100 people were involved in putting on the carnival, which brought together some female inmates, their children and the children’s caregivers for an extended visit filled with fun activities.
Way to go!
