Fremont Community Correctional Center is a 60-bed male facility that provides services to both parolees and probationers.
Fremont has 40 beds dedicated to the treatment of sex offenders. The average stay for sex offenders completing this program is 12 to 18 months. Sex-offender therapy is contracted out to private providers.
The facility also has 18 beds dedicated to the treatment of mentally ill offenders. Length of stay in this program is determined on an individual basis, depending on the needs of each offender and the challenges of re-establishment in the community.
MIO therapy is provided by the Department's Bureau of Clinical Services. The combination of these two programs in one facility provides a unique therapeutic environment conducive to the successful completion of the programs, as well as successful supervision in the community.
